Esteban Magana, Jonathan Kelly, Juan Rosales, Devin Provence, Jesus Villarreal, Franky Dolores and David Millan all placed in the top 30 for San Diego Mesa College in the men's 4-mile final at the Californa Community College Athletic Association state cross country championship meet at Woodward Park in Fresno. Magana was fourth in 20:18.5, Kelly secured sixth in 20:22.4, Rosales took 12th in 20:32.5, Provence placed 14th in 20:33.9, Villarreal grabbed 17th in 20:39.3, Dolores earned 25th in 20:50.9 and Millan clocked 20:55.4 to finish 28th for San Diego Mesa, which repeated as team champion with a 50-66 victory over Mt. San Antonio College.
