Mt. San Antonio College repeated as champion in the women's 5-kilometer race at the California Community College Athletic Association state final at Woodward Park in Fresno. The Mounties prevailed against San Diego Mesa College by an 83-138 margin to capture their fourth title in the past nine years and 11th overall in program history. Hannah Brown covered the 5-kilometer layout in 18:06.8 to take third, Claudia Vera placed 10th in 18:50.3, Karla Galvan secured 17th in 19:07.4, Ingrid Tamayo achieved 30th in 19:32.9, Shandy Moore finished 40th in 19:53.0, Brenna Butler earned 47th in 20:05.0 and Cassie Apahidean grabbed 49th in 20:10.8 for the Mounties, who concluded the season unbeaten against California two-year college programs.
