L.A. Harbor College CA won its first women's team title in program history with a 72-99 victory over Hartnell College at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Brenda Rosales-Coria was the individual winner, covering the 5-kilometer race in 17:59.4. Olivia Quezada (18:39.1) and Cynthia Melendez (18:53.3) finished ninth and 13th, respectively, to earn All-America honors. Andrea Gonzalez Macias was 26th (19:22.2) and Estrella Montiel took 33rd (19:36.8) to round out the scoring runners for L.A. Harbor.
