Mt. San Antonio College won its first men's team title since 2018 and the third in the past six years at the California Community College Athletic Association state cross country final at Woodward Park in Fresno. Mt. SAC rallied in the second half of the race to prevail by a 59-62 margin against two-time defending champion San Diego Mesa College. Jesse Alvarado became the fourth individual state champion in program history, covering the 4-mile layout in 19:51.2 to eclipse the new Woodward Park course record of 19:52.4 achieved last year by friend and Mt. SAC teammate Daniel Abdala. Elijah Ocegueda took 10th in 20:27.8, Jalen Griego (20:36.2) and Jonathan Pfeiffer (20:37.1) were 14th and 15th, respectively, Austin Ledgerwood (20:46.1) and Andres Chavez (20:46.9) placed 19th and 20th, respectively, with Max Loera finiishing 52nd in 21:28.1, who secured their fourth men's state championship overall.
